The Chocolate Connection To create this expression, Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan traveled to Girona, Spain, to immerse herself in the world of chocolate at Casa Cacao. Working closely with Jordi Roca, she identified specific chocolate notes within Macallan’s traditional sherry-seasoned oak casks. The result is a whisky that offers a deep, natural mahogany color and a flavor profile that specifically highlights rich, dark chocolate.
