A Botanical Breakthrough Inspired by the ever-changing natural wonders of the woods, Director of Whisky Creation, Dr. Bill Lumsden, revived an ancient method of kilning barley with botanicals. By using juniper berries, birch bark, and heather flowers, Glenmorangie has created a spirit that captures the scents, sounds, and sights of a forest in a bottle.
The Craft of Kilning This experimental process results in a whisky that is distinctly different from the traditional Glenmorangie house style, yet retains the distillery’s signature finesse.
